What is Kawasaki disease? 

According to medical experts, Kawasaki is a kidney disorder. It is not that like other cases of the corona, it is showing different symptoms in children around the world. According to the information, similar symptoms have been observed in corona infected children in America, England, Italy, and China also.

In our country also, in Mumbai and Delhi, there have been reported cases where counting of children has been found to be positive. But in all these cases, Corona has shown the same symptoms of Kawasaki disease.

What are the symptoms of Kawasaki?

-The child may have a high fever in Kawasaki disease.

- The child's eyes turn red and lump form around his neck.

-The child's lips, tongue, and hands become ruddy red. Rashes are spread all over the body.

- The digestive capacity of the child becomes weak and his BP starts decreasing very fast. Also, there is swelling in blood vessels.

- The child's hands and feet become swollen. For this reason, he may have difficulty in clenching his hand or wearing slippers in his feet and walking.

Other symptoms in COVID infected children

-Korona-infected children may show symptoms of Kawasaki at an early stage and their condition may become more severe later. The symptoms seen in the cases of Kovid-19 infected children so far are as follows…

- The children were having a high fever and pain in their stomach and vomiting was occurring intermittently.

- All the reports of children on performing all the necessary tests and echoes were normal. But over time their condition began to deteriorate so much that some children also needed ventilator support.

-Because the blood pressure of the children was gradually decreasing and their heart function was also declining. In this situation, some children came to Kovid-19 RTPCR test negative but when the antibodies were tested positive it could be confirmed that the children are corona positive.

After the medication and immunotherapy, the condition of the children improved, and then after some time, they were discharged from the hospital. In these cases, there was a case in which the child has already become a victim of the corona.

Why is Kawasaki disease?

Health experts say that no firm information has been revealed about why Kawasaki disease occurs in children. There is no diagnostic test of this disease as of now. But on the basis of diagnostic criteria, the disease is investigated.
