An aircraft made an emergency landing at Delhi IGI Airport. Emergency landing of SpiceJet plane going from Delhi to Jabalpur was done. The fire department was called at 7:19. Railway property damage worth more than 500 crores

There has been heavy damage to railway property in the ongoing protests across the country against the Agneepath scheme. According to railway sources, there has been a loss of railway property worth more than 500 crores and the rest is also being estimated. Around 100 coaches have been damaged due to fire in trains across the country. The cost of a coach is two crores i.e. rail coaches worth more than 200 crores are burnt. Apart from this, 7 engines are burnt, one engine is worth Rs 15 crore. Accordingly, engines worth about 105 crores have been burnt. Apart from this, the damage done on the railway track and station is being estimated.
