Preparations to bring a sample of Mars to Earth with the help of Perseverance Rover

US Space Agency NASA's Mission Mars 2020 has been launched from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. In this mission, the Perseverance Rover is being sent to the surface of Mars. During its mission, this rover will collect old life information on NASA's surface. In addition, this rover will also bring stones and soil from the surface of Mars to the earth.

Rover will find answers to many questions related to astrobiology

NASA's Perseverance will find answers to many important questions related to astrobiology, the biggest question of which is: Is life on Mars possible? This mission will not only search for places on Mars where life has been before but will also find signs of microbial life present there.

The Perseverance Rover core will sample from the rocks and soil there and place it in a cache on the surface of Mars. In the future, missions going there will bring these samples back to Earth. Actually, to study these samples, scientists will need a large lab that is not possible to take to Mars.

A helicopter being sent to Mars with perseverance

A small helicopter named Ingenuity is also going with this rover. Who will attempt to fly alone on the surface of Mars? While flying amidst the extremely sparse atmosphere of Mars, this helicopter will rise 10 feet above the surface and go up to 6 feet at a time. With every effort, it will try to move forward.

Rover will search for life on Mars

The Perseverance Rover is equipped with state-of-the-art landing technology. Apart from this, many cameras and microphones are installed in this rover, which will record pictures of Mars and the sound there. Super-sanitized sample return tubes fitted to it will collect samples from rocks to find evidence of human life on Mars in ancient times.

What is the purpose of this mission?

The mission will be an opportunity to gather such information and do technology tests which will help in easing the challenges of sending humans to Mars in the coming time. The most important in this will be to find a way to make oxygen in the atmosphere of Mars. Apart from these, it is also involved in finding water on the surface, inventing better ways of landing, finding the habitable weather, dust, and environmental conditions of the astronauts. Perseverance will also carry material of such prototype spacesuits that can be used to prepare for astronauts in the future and will test this material accordingly.
