Most of the cloned 47 banned Chinese apps, only 15 new apps


The Indian government had banned 47 Chinese apps about 10 days ago. Looking at the list of apps, it shows that there were only 15 apps that were new, all the other apps were lite or pro version of the old apps banned by the government.

The Indian government had banned 47 more apps during the second digital strike in China about 10 days ago. According to the Economic Times report, among these 47 apps, there were about 15 apps that were new, including ByteDance, 's a video editing app CapCut and Xiaomi's browser apps. All the other apps in this list were lite or pro versions of old apps banned by the government. Explain that in June, the government had banned 59 Chinese apps, including TickTalk, Hello, as a threat to the country's security, after which the lite version of many apps came.

These are 15 new banned apps

The list of Bain 47 apps included new apps such as photo editor AirBrush, short video tool Meipai, camera app BoXxCAM, apps owned by Meitu, a Chinese smartphone, and selfie app maker. The same company's Meitu app was banned in June.

Also included were email service apps NetEase, QuVideo Inc's gaming apps Heroes War, and SlidePlus. Xiaomi's Me Browser Pro has also been banned after blocking the Mi Community app. Similarly, Baidu Search and Search Lite have also been banned.

Banned Cloning Apps

47 of the apps were mostly cloning apps. About 7 versions of Parallel Space apps alone have been removed. This app allows Android users to run two accounts on the same device on apps like WhatsApp and Facebook. The popular Chinese media platform Weibo has also been blocked. This included Tiktok Lite, Helo Lite, SHAREit Lite, BIGO LIVE Lite, and VFY Lite.
